1 CE for Thanatechnology and its role in coping with grief

Thank you for registering for the Research Talk Webinar! Access to attend the webinar is free and 1 Continuing Education Contact Hour is available for a fee. Following the webinar, a brief evaluation survey of the presentation will be shared. You will receive your certificate of completion by email within two weeks of the workshop if your evaluation survey has been submitted and the attendance requirements are met. These policies are set by CE boards.

The Center for Prolonged Grief at Columbia School of Social Work is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Mental Health Practitioners as an approved provider of continuing education for NYS licensed social workers (provider #0021), licensed mental health counselors (#MHC-0104) and licensed marriage and family therapists (#MFT-0080). The Center for Prolonged Grief at Columbia University School of Social Work is recognized by the American Psychological Association and the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Psychology as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed psychologists #PSY-0150. The Center for Prolonged Grief maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

Social workers, mental health counselors, marriage and family therapists, and psychologists licensed outside of New York state, please check with your state licensing board. Many states have recognized our continuing education hours as we are at a CSWE-accredited institution and part of a regionally accredited university but we ask that you confirm with your board.
