Open to licensed clinicians who have completed the two-day workshop, Practice-Focused Training in Prolonged Grief Therapy.
Product Description
Our consultation groups can provide the support you need to feel confident in implementing prolonged grief therapy.
Implementation of a new treatment approach inevitably raises questions even for experienced clinicians. For example, questions about whether certain cases are appropriate, how to introduce PGT or some of the procedures to a client, whether PGT can be used in a group setting or for couples treatment, or how to troubleshoot the myriad of issues that arise in the real world of clinical practice.
Our consultation groups are led by one of our PGT trainers and provide a space to discuss clinical challenges with peers who use PGT.

Testimonials
“Initially, I had some reservations about joining the consultation group; I wasn’t sure what to expect and, having not long completed the prolonged grief training, was aware that I was just beginning to apply the theory and techniques to my regular practice. However, my worries were quickly alleviated by the warm and supportive welcome from the Center team and fellow attendees, the friendly yet professional attitudes of all of those involved, and the excellent learning and development that have since taken place. I wholeheartedly recommend the consultation group to any professional, whether they are new in their career or have many years behind them...”
“….The discussions were rich and insightful, and I always walked away with fresh perspectives and new tools to try in my own practice. It was also great to connect with other therapists who “get it” when it comes to the nuances of grief work. The group felt collaborative and supportive, and I found myself looking forward to each session. I’d definitely recommend this group. It was such a worthwhile experience!“
