Grief after the suicide of a loved one often contains challenges that comprise risk factors for derailing adaptation to loss. It is important for grief therapists to be aware of these risk factors and to understand how best to address these. Additionally, suicide loss increases the risk of suicide for bereaved individuals. This webinar will provide a general overview of suicide as a public health problem, identify thematic issues common to grief following loss by suicide,  and suggest ways to address these when working with suicide bereaved clients.
